Default encryption type for oracle database

edited Nov 20, 2013 10:33PM in Database Administration (MOSC) 5 commentsAnswered ✓
Hi All,
I want to ask something about default encryption type in oracle database.
Some table in oracle store a password with encrypted type.

Example:
in fnd_users table have a password column with encrypted password.

How do I know or check the type of encryption that oracle use for encrypted the password (AES, MD5 , etc)

Thanks
