REP-0189: Cannot write to Reports Server cache

I’m running concurrent request “active users” to test the system is okay after running autoconfig (I've just applied some July CPU patches) but it’s failing with the below:-

REP-0189: Cannot write to Reports Server cache

REP-0069: Internal error

REP-57054: In-process job terminated:Terminated with error:

REP-189: Cannot write to Reports Server cache

 

I’ve done some searches, and about the only hits I can find are around changing the cacheDir e,g,

 

R12: "REP-0189: Cannot write to Reports Server cache" Error When Running Reports (Doc ID 844884.1)

 

1. Source the application environment file.

2. Go to $ORACLE_HOME/reports/conf

3. Take the backup of rwbuilder.conf file.
