OAF Function Does Not Respect Responsibility's Data Group

OAF function does not respect responsibility's data group. I have a function defined to open an OAF page that queries a database object. The data base object exists under the apps and another schema but point to different data base objects. I have defined a data group that connects to the database as a different Oracle Apps schema. However, when I use the responsibility that is assigned this data group the OAF page still only queries using the apps schema.
The OAF page should use the specified data group of the responsibility in which the page is being run and connect to the database as the specified Data Group database user as Oracle Forms do.
