Recompiling Forms

Hello,
I was wondering what are some root causes that make oracle forms to have to be recompiled. In the past week my client has encountered form errors and we correct the issue by recompiling the form.. , but what causes it to hvae to be recompiled?

Any insight or information is greatly appreciated.
