Plain text data after tablespace encryption in 11.2.0.4

 Hi Gurus,

I recently encrypted a tablespace (TDE) to test the encryption in Oracle 11.2.0.4.

Developers are complaining that they are seeing some plain in SQL developer window. 

I heard there is data redaction feature in 11gr2 and 12c but still not sure why we are seeing that plain text data.

Can anyone put some light on it.
