RDF 13.4.1 - Causal Calculations

Hi,We have RDF 13.4.1 running on RPAS 13.4.1 and need some specific calculations to calculate Causal effects to arrive at Promotional demand.

1. Does, the promotion/event name configured in Promote need to be the same in past and future for the system to calculate the lift effect. e.g. to arrive at back to school lift for 2013, the event name, should it be the same in 2012 as well in the event calendar which is loaded into RDF? 

2. If we decided to add a new event every year, then can RDF calculate the promotional lift due to that new event, since there are no past events in history with the same name?
