Restore Database show latest dat

I have RMAN backup of the database which was taken at 9AM , at mid of the day around 1 PM i shutdown immediate and opened the database in mount stage and   restored/recovered the database from the backup which was taken in the morning at 9 AM but the database is still showing the transaction which were entered till 1 PM,
Any idea why the DB is showing old transaction in the Database.
