Cycle Count Listing Gone Wild

(I hope this is the correct community. There used to be an "Inventory" group, then an "Inventory Management" group. I see the closest now is "Inventory Item", but my question doesn't fit that)

We have over 50 cycle counts and things were humming along quite well - until this morning. One of the 50 counts produced a cycle count listing report of over 300 pages where normally it would be only  2 or 3 pages long. The ABC Compile / Initialization Group for this count was last performed Nov 5 and no items have been flagged as "Control" items.

I'm at a loss to explain what happened. Any ideas?
