how to make a standby database -- that is in read-only mode -- a standalone database

i have a test database -- that is a standby database -- and is in read-only mode, i want to make this a standalone database... as i have totally lost my primary database (through various tests)....so i can't switchover or even failover...

is this possible? how to do it?
