how to recover a datafile that was added during a backup-recovering is from ASM to file system
I have a RAC database 11gr2 on ASM that while an rman backup was in progress, a datafile was added.
In a disaster recovery scenario we restored the database to single instance and a conventional file system.
The restore uses "set newname for database to '/p100/oradata/WFMRPRD/%b';"
When the restore encountered the new datafile, 26, an error occurred.
Is there a way to recover the database with the new datafile?
