Is it possible in Financial Reporting to calulate a variance depending on a Memeber if it is numeric

I am trying to build a report in Financial against Essbase datasource.

Column 1 say its my actual and column b is my budget. Column C is my variance defined as A-B.

I have a number of rows where my member is actually a %. For those members I would like not to calculate a Variance. I am thinking of placing a 0 in the formula for it, but I also have a row template on the background (to get all my rows). I am just wondering if it would be possible to write a condition in the template to say if the member description has % then variance =0.

Howdy, Stranger!
