General Ledger jounral lines DFF

Hi

We have enabled the use of the DFF on GL journal lines in order to capture various additional information for reporting purposes.  The DFF we have created is linked to various value sets.  However some journals that have been posted, the users have selected incorrect values in the value set even though the journal they have posted is correct.  We would like to allow the users to go back into some journals and correct the values they have selected in the DFF without making changes to any other aspect of the journal but the DFF is greyed out once the
