Executing a post-installation script

edited Dec 2, 2013 9:34AM in Ops Center (MOSC) 2 commentsAnswered
After provisioning an OS, I want to run a custom script to complete common customized tasks.
I have spent all morning reading the Ops Center docs.  Under Creating A Software Deployment Plan section, It states :

++++++++++++++++
Execute pre-install – The update profiles that are of script type are listed. You can upload scripts using the local content. Create an update profile of type Script. You can select those profiles from this list.
++++++++++++++++

But when I go to Profiles and Policies and select Create Profile, there is nothing there which allows me to select type SCRIPT.

Any idea how to do this?  I don't want to set up a full-blown JET template, just want to run a simple script after OS provisioning.

Howdy, Stranger!
