Single instance database is showing type=RAC in srvclt config

 Hello, 
 We have created a single database but when inquired from srvctl config database, it is showing TYPE=RAC. 

Is this a normal feature or we have missed anything during database creation. Also, is it possible to convert into single instance with/without bouncing the database and how? 

srvctl config database -d DB00174

Oracle home: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0.3/dbhome_1
Oracle user: oracle
