Sub inventory is not being considered in calculation of Schedule Ship/ Arrival Date

I have a stock in warehouse "W" for ITEM X which has 2 sub inventories.

Sub Inventory 1 : Quantity = 100

Sub inventory 2 : Quantity = 0

I am creating a sales order with ITEM X using warehouse "W" and "Sub Inventory 2". Quantity at sales order line level is 10 only.

 In this case,

I expect that, sales order should consider that "Sub. Inventory 2" doesn't have any stock and should consider the ITEM level LEAD Times during scheduling and should calculate Sc. Ship Date/ Sc. Arrival Date based on LEAD TIMES.

But it seems it is not happening this way, Sales Order is simply getting scheduled considering the ITEM availability in warehouse and  not considering Sub inventory.
