Multiline Controls of type TextArea misaligned in OpenUI / Bug 17202898

Hello Community,
I am currently in the process of moving our HI application to Open UI IP2013 (like many others I'm sure :-) and am hitting some issues. One problem I am currently facing is with TextArea controls. We use TextArea controls in Form applets all over the application. I noticed that their usage screws up applet layout in Open UI.

I found this bug on MyOracle Support:

which seems to be not yet fixed. Would someone happen to know whether this is already being worked on, and how long it will approximately take until this is fixed? I would be happy to get this information as this will have influence on our Go-Live schedule. Is it considered candidate for a QF, or 8.1.1.12?
