Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. What are the journal entries required for FA Migration?

Hello Gentlemen,

Client has been maintaining FA on excel file. However AR, AP, CM ,Gl is currently being used on ebs.

We have to migrate FA to the FA module.

Clients is disagreeing as to the journal entries. Client is recommending that we DR Fixed Assets and CR Retained Earnings directly.

Advise please
