copy ufs system disk from v240 to t4-4
Hi,
I'm trying to migrate an old v240 machine into a t-4-4 ldom.
the procedure i did was as follows:
1. i have assigned two physical disks to the ldom (boot from SAN).
2. I installed solaris 10 on one of them (with zfs), and booted it.
3. I formated, created ufs filesystems, and performed ufsrestore from a backup image to the second disk
4. I ran installboot to add the ufs boot block
5. upon booting the ufs disk, i get a 'can't open boot_archive' and a 'the file does not seem to be executable'
6. I tried deleting all device files, and copying them from the other system disk, running configuration boot, devfsadm -R and other stuff i saw on the web. nothing helped.
