Help and suggestions on sending the PDF salary reports generated as email attachment
We have developed a XML report to generate a PDF output containing the salary details of an employee. The parameters passed are Employee Number and the Period. So, whenever we submit this report PDF is generated and the output can be viewed . The PDF is saved in the out folder on the filesytem.
So, for example we have 200 employees and 200 PDF's containing there salary details, Now our goal is to send these PDF as an email attachment to each employee containing there respective salary details.
We tried to use Oracle Alert manager to get this working, in the select statement we submitted the XML report for the salary alert, please have look at the select statement in attached, we are not able to verify the select statement as it supports only SQL and not PL/sql, so we are now planning to get this SQL working in the actions details , which accepts the PLSQL code too.
