Where does cost group get defaulted in 11i and R12 ?

Dear All,

From where cost group get defaulted in 11i and R12?

Inventory Responsibility->Setup->Organization->Parameter->Costing
Information->Default Cost Group

The value defaulted in Default Cost Group field is defaulted in all
suninventories belongs this organization.

I just want to know from where this cost group gets defaulted in
Organization parameter.
