Item Ship to Location

The Item ship to location navigation appears to setup an Item > Vendor > and Ship to Location for an item.  Will this default the ship to location or change the default ship to location for an item when an Item is selected that has an Item Ship to Location setup and is marked as "Accept any ship to location" as N?
