Seeking Inventory Organization Recommendation for Back-to-Back Dropship Scenario

 Hello,I am testing back to back dropship functionality in R12.1.3.
Everything worked just as expected!
I have a question and thought that maybe some of you could share your experience/gotchas.

I understand that Back-To-Back DropShip does NOT need a new Virtual inventory organization to be setup..and can work off of the existing Inventory organization, however, i have read and heard from some of the peers that it is always a good idea to set up a new inventory organization exclusively for dropship scenarios. Can any of you share the benefits of doing this?
