Job scheduling and how not to run

Hi All,

I need some more help.

I have an job that takes 5 days to run (it used to take a day, but thats beside the point).  The database was rebuilt and the job has been offcentre since, presumably it was running at the time that the database was deleted for rebuild.

The scenario just encountered:

Job was submitted on Friday night as scheduled.  Monday it was still running, so I broke the job so it wouldnt resubmit on Monday.

Job finally ended last night (wednesday), but the ending of the job somehow unbroke the job and it resubmitted again.
