WARNING:io_submit failed due to kernel limitations MAXAIO for process ...

Hello Gurus,

We are getting following warnings in trace files:

WARNING:io_submit failed due to kernel limitations MAXAIO for process=642 pending aio=599
WARNING:asynch I/O kernel limits is set at AIO-MAX-NR=3145728 AIO-NR=266901

As per MOS Doc ID 868590.1, "No patch is required as both Bug 7523755 and unpublished Bug 6687381 are already fixed in 11.2."

But still these warnings are coming very frequently. Does any one has any Idea, what is missing in our setup ?

We have 11.2.0.3 on Linux on Single instance database.
