Change of adjustment schedue for open orders

I currently have open sales orders which have the schedule populated via advanced preferences depending on the ship to address.  I need to change the rules of the advance preference, and as a result I will have a new adjustment shedule that the order should be populated with, with new rules attached to it.  How would I get the open sales orders to bring in the new adjsutment schedule.
