Using Books as Filters in Account/Contact Reports

Hi community,
Has anyone had success with building account/contact reports that use Books as filters, or even displaying Book-records in a report?

So far, I cannot get any results to even show when trying to view records within a book in an account-report.

Is this feature broken, or am I doing something wrong?

I have full administrator access, and even tried adding myself as a book-user, to no avail.
