Changing compatible parameter: 9.2.0 to 10.2.0

hi all,actually we have one very very critical database which was upgraded from 8i to 10.2.0.5 . upgradation was done sonce amost more than 1 year every thing going fine . but in compatible parameter is still 9.2.0 . 

now actually we need to configure data guard so to get full features we need to raise this parameter from 9.2.0 to 10.2.0. now my main concern is if i change this parameter what issues that we can face after changing it.  show i also go to application team to get them confirmation. what features that can be disturbed by changing this parameter.
