Intermitent occurances of the error 'Your log on session has become invalid. Exiting Oracle Applica

Our CRM Helpdesk Users find they intermittently get thrown out of E-Business Suite, Service responsibility, for no apparent reason whilst they are actively using the application. I've seen document Doc ID 427588.1 and I wondered how I could diagnose if this was the reason for our problems. Could it be that they are using a problem value set? We are on Oracle 12.0.6 and use Windows XP IE version 6 Java version 21 or 24.
Any help would be much appreciated.
