Is it possible to show Opportunity metrics in the same row as a custom object in an Advanced Custom

My scenario is that I have a custom object that is related to various other objects (Account, Opportunity, Contact).  I need a report which shows the custom object info in the same line as the opportunity info associated to it.  I can get this to work for all the standard custom or system fields (ie: all my custom object fields show up and so do all text fields, Id's, etc for Opportunities).  When I try to pull in any opportunity metric field though the values come up blank in the report.

I can make a combined analysis report and group the information so they show up together but this won't work for the purpose of my report because I need to find all the custom objects associated to Opportunities > Contract Amount in prompt.  The combined analysis will only show me which opportunities are that size, not which ones have external participants.
