Physical inventory accuracy analysis report

Hi, I would like to ask the functionality of the report Physical inventory accuracy analysis.
The adjustment value includes item quantities that are under non-asset subinventories.
Our expectation is that the system value in this report would be 0 since non-asset subinventories carry no cost in our inventory value report.
What will be the adjustment impact when we adjust the quantities of these items?
Any comment is appreciated.
