COO - Country of Origin !!

Hi ,

Can any one ,please let me know the 'Significance' of 'Country of origin' at Item branch info ? what will happen for 'M'ake parts & 'P'urchase parts , if I keep COO value at Item branch info ? How can it be printed at shippable documents...like 'Pick slips' ? Is there any specific set-up required for this?

 Please share your thoughts.
