Solution for Fixed Standard hours and excess leaves

Is there a standard solution or any work around to tackle the excessive leaves?

i.e., P0801CMP standard hours is set to work on 240 hours and when employee applied 248(31 days) of vacation or unpaid leave. We are getting negative amount in the regular and burden.

Please help!
