Cloning of 12.1.1 on 12.1.3

Hello,

I have one test server with 12.1.1 and a production with 12.1.3, I want to clone the `12.1.1 instance on the production server ,  I need to know whether this will create any problem with the production instance or not? I am planning to update the 12.1.1 to the 12.1.3 once i clone it on the production server, is this approach ok to proceed, or it will be required to update the test server to the 12.1.3 and then clone it to the production server. ?
