RAC Design - how many networks

hi,

I am attempting to set up a simple small demo system for 11gR2 RAC using 2 Oracle linux 6.3 servers which I have networked together via a switch.

I believe I can NFS mount some of the local disk on one of the servers to act as Shared Disk for the cluster.

However I was reading some documentation stating that each server requires 2 Network adapters, 1 for the private interconnect and 1 for the public network.

Q1. Is there anyway around this as currently my servers only have a single NIC card each.

Q2. How many IP addresses do I need for each node ? I believe the following but I am not sure which network these would be on
