install patch recommended

Good morning.  I require to install the M4000 server recommended the EIS-DVD in July 2013 patches, but the server is configured SVM (disk mirror) my question is can I install the patches in single-user mode without destroying the mirror?
If the answer is NO, you could tell me how to separate the mirror drive or ID document has the information.
