Bank and Bank Branch

I have a supplier  with a new bank , new bank branches and of couse bank account.    I  lookup the the supplier and at banking details tab it allows me  create the a new bank account and new bank branch.  However, I when I checked the Bank Window ( Set up > Payment> Bank and Bank Branches ) it also allows me  to create the new bank and new bank  branch.

What do you recommend where to create the  new bank and bank branches for the suppliers bank account?  At the Banking Details tab or Bank\Branches window?
