Proposal Generator - Automation

Hi,

We have a need to create proposals using script from applets that are non proposal type applets.

Does any one have any idea whether this is supported in any siebel version. We are on 8.0.0.9 ; and we will move to 8.1.1.x soon. The siebel documentation says it is not supported; but I couldn't find any document that is relevant for the latest versions of siebel.
