ASCP - Safety Stock Effective Date in Plan and Collection

I have a question on effective dates of Safety Stock in Collections and in Plan run. We have noticed that, one of our Buy Item (actually its a Buy from another org in same operating unit) has effective date populated and the same effective date gets collected into ASCP. But when plan runs (EDD Plan), it moved the safety stock effective date to 2 extra day. When i checked today in ASCP, the effecitve date on the safety stock moved 1 day as intended and the data collected in ASCP showed the correct date. But again when the Plan run,
