metad client create: RPC: Rpcbind failure

not sure if this is the right place to put this query, but here goes.

Some new EMC luns were presented to my global zone - we are using MPXIO not powerpath.

since then I am having a problem with running the metastat commands to find out the status of my existing disk groups.

I am getting the error :

metad client create: RPC: Rpcbind failure

I had problems on 2 global zones, on one I just restarted the rpcbind service :

This resolved the problem on here and I can now run metastat and getting some info back.

However on the second global zone I tried the same thing, but it is having a problem restarting the service.
