Hello All -
For those of you who are beginning to make plans to move to the newest Exadata software version 11.2.3.3.0 that was recently announced on MyOracleSupport in NOTE 888828.1, please be aware of a serious known issue that is published in NOTE 1487339.1, "Exadata 11.2.3.3.0 release and patch".

We are all accustomed to temporarily running mixed cell versions (e.g. during rolling cell patching or rack expansion with new hardware).   However, if some of the Storage Cells / Compute Nodes involved are version 11.2.3.3.0, and you are still using Oracle Database 11.2.0.3 or 11.2.0.2 without patch 17854520 installed, you are leaving yourself open to a database hang or crash.

Howdy, Stranger!
