PAY: Has anyone re-implemented their production Payroll module?

Hello,

We are currently using R 12.1.3, for Finacials and HRMS (including Payroll).  We are considering a re-implementation project to include GL and some other modules.  As part of the re-implementation, we will evaluate changing some of our setups in multiple modules and the structure of our account number will change.

Has anyone performed such a re-implementation?  If so, how did you address the conversion of historic data, as some internal ids map to setups - which will be different?
