Maintenance Routing Dependencies

Hi,
We are getting some customisation work done to update Maintenance Routing Operation departments after an asset moves. As a result of the customisation work, routing network dependencies are broken and do not work after the asset moves. After testing, I highlighted this as an issue to the consultant but am being told that I am now looking for an additional feature that was not specified and that this is not commonly used functionality. There was never any mention that we would lose dependencies when the consultant made his work proposal and I know that it was unexpected for him also
