Issues in opening and saving exported output

Hi,

I am facing an issue in opening and saving exported output in excel from JDE. Regardless of the application, if I do excel export, and try to open it, instead of getting the document to open straight way, I get message as in "FILE OPEN Issue.png". After  that, once I open it and then try saving it by some other name, I see the file extension as ".xml". Could someone please suggest why JDE is behaving this way and if some setting changes are required locally or on server? Thank you.
