Gathering DBstat in Siebel for optimizing query on UI

Hi All,

I was asked to generate dbstat, can anyone show me how? I'm not really that good at reading the docs found on oracle, I get confused and theres lots of terms taht I dont understand. if anyonce can give me a step by step in thier own words on how to do it that would greatly help me

 I was referenced to this doc (Doc ID 781927.1) is this the way to gather db stat?
