Restrict access to listing of Direct Connect Suppliers on Requistion Web tab

I am using SCM 9.0/PT 8.49.11 and trying to restrict access to a small group of users for a new Direct Connect Supplier.  

I received some tips from the community site expected results are still not being achieved.

I have the following setup

eProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Catalogs > eProcurement Catalog Security Option (AccessPolicy and GUI CHECKED)
eProcurement > Administer Procurement > Maintain Catalogs > Catalog Security Types (BU and ROLENAME CHECKED) 
       Catalog Link for BU - Entered BU and added the new direct connect supplier; the existing one is there as well.
       Catalog Link for ROLENAME  added the Role of the small group of users and added the new direct connect supplier
