Importing data from SQL using Integration script taking too long

I have created an Integration script using a template from the admin guide and when i import from the workspace it's taking almost 30 mins to import the data, i have about 250k records.
Let me know if you spot anything obvious that i can change, not sure if any DB settings need to be changed.
