HTML link for Pivot Table

I need help to make HTML link work that I want to use for a pivot table for Opportunity: 

@[html]<a href="/OnDemand/user/OpportunityDetail?OMTGT=OpptyDetailForm&OpptyDetailForm.Id&OMTHD=OpportunityDetailNav="@target="_blank">"@</a>

I get an error message that states:This operation is not allowed when there are no records displayed. Please execute a query that returns at least one record or add a new record.(SBL-DAT-00215)

Additionally, when can Treat Data as HTML be used (Column Properties, Data Format)?
