Sourcing surrogate quote spreadsheet upload fails

Anybody run across the surrogate quote spreadsheet upload failing with the error message "There is a column name which could not be recognized. Please check the column names to ensure they are correct". What is baffeling is that I used the spreadsheet export as a tab delimited file, did not touch the column names, enter the answers, and tried the import of a text tab delimited file. Plus the names match the xml instructions provided by Oracle.  Thanks..
