Charges without Order Management

Hi,

My client business process include creation of Service request, collecting information from various sources and finally provide the collected information to the customer. They charge the documentation fee. I am configuring Service request to capture this process. My client don't have license for OM. My question is how far I can use the charges functionality.

My requirement is like, user will enter the 'page count' and 'price' and the system has to calculate the total amount to be paid.

During "Service Activities and Billing Types" setup, each service activity code is mapped to one or more billing types. Each combination of a service activity code, billing type, and operating unit will be mapped with the order type and order line type.
