Hi,

Would you know why a BATCH RETRIEVAL transaction on DBMS would want a CR lock on the AIJ. 

In the extract below BATCH_2669 only starts a batch retrieval transaction. 

16-DEC-2013 17:53:28.0408808 00038580:1 16-DEC-2013 17:53:27.4758756 waiting for AIJ journal control (EX)

   State... Process.ID Process.name... Lock.ID. Rq Gr Queue "AIJ journal control"

   Blocker: 00061193   BATCH_2669      39027DEF    CR Grant
